As part of our mission to share information across the local CF community, we will publish significant events impacting individual members of the community. We would prefer to spread good news, but it’s equally important to share more serious reports. That is the case for Allie Davis.
Allie has experienced a rapid decline in her condition. She is scheduled to be transported to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where they will work to improve her the condition to the point where she can be listed for a transplant. [As of this posting, plans are in place to airlift Allie to UPMC but weather conditions have delayed her departure.]
We have been asked by her mother, Valerie Davis, to share this information. She has provided us with two links for those who would like to follow Allie’s progress. they are:
