Good evening,
A few months ago Grace Knight and her mother contacted me about a Girl Scout Gold Award project that Grace was undertaking to complete the requirements of the award. Grace is a high school junior in Tyler, Texas and has CF. Through this project she is mixing the two-halves of her life together; the one she can’t control and the one she can. She is putting together a poetry book that will consist of poems from the CF community/friends and family. She is looking to collect poems from as many people as she can and has created a website for submissions: http://tanglesoflife.com/ . All participants and participating CF centers will receive a free copy of the book.
Please consider sharing this message with others at your care center—health care professionals, individuals with CF and families. Help Grace achieve her dream that “no one will ever feel lonely as they struggle through the Tangles of Life.”
