CFFC publishes tidbits of information about CF and CFFC on its Facebook page with historical information is posted on “Throwback Thursdays” (TBT) and Monday posts under the heading “Did You Know” (DYK). Here are the post for September.
- September 3rd: TBT – The Kit Taylor Memorial Lectureship was established in 1982 by Mary Jane Taylor (Kit’s mother).
- September 7th: DYK – The Kit Taylor Memorial Lectureship brings world renowned practitioners in various CF disciplines to Rochester to speak to community members as well as CF Center staff.
- September 10th: TBT – CFFC’s inaugural golf tournament was held on September 14, 2013. Our third annual event will be held this coming Saturday.
- September 14th: TBT – The 2015 Living with CF Golf Tournament raised over $1,100 to fund CFFC programs.
- September 17th: TBT – The Adult CF Program in Rochester was established in 1999.
- September 21st: DYK – In addition to providing grants for research into CF and supporting clinical trials, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation promotes and accredits 115 specialized centers in the US for treatment of individuals with cystic fibrosis.
