The following information was distributed in a press release from AbbVie:

With the holiday season in full swing, people are scouring the internet for new recipes to impress their family and friends at the dinner table. But as you may know, for people living with cystic fibrosis (CF), consuming the needed calories and nutrients while celebrating the holidays can sometimes be a challenge.

Luckily, more than 200 CF-friendly, dietitian-approved recipes were just added to AbbVie’s CFChef Online Cookbook. These recipes were submitted by members of the CF community as part of a unique donation-based partnership program called CFChef Shares. The program was launched earlier this year in partnership with Cystic Fibrosis Research, Inc. (CFRI) to increase awareness of the need for those living with CF to learn and maintain good nutritional habits and a proper CF diet. Now, thanks to the amazing response from the CF community, hosts and hostesses have a wide range of delicious recipes to choose from that will satisfy the dietary needs of guests or family members living with CF.

In addition to housing a diverse collection of CF-friendly, dietitian-approved recipes, the CFChef website also includes aCF Nutrition Guide with tips for healthy CF eating at all ages, and “Bite Size” nutrition tips from CFChef experts. (Check out the latest article from Suzanne Michel, Registered CF Dietitian, about her top three CF-friendly winter recipes.)

We hope that you will visit Chef4CF.com and love the new additions to the site and if so, share this resource with your followers. If you have any questions or need any additional information to do so, please contact Gina Serra on behalf of AbbVie:
