The CF Foundation released a series of five videos to provide updates on the research in major areas of CF treatments. The videos are brief (under three minutes) but provide a good overview of the range of activity in the search for improved medicines.
The videos deal with the following topics:
- New Developments in Drugs to Fix the CFTR Protein – Dr. Drucy Borowitz explains why fixing the CFTR protein is important to people living with CF and talks about the development of several small molecule drugs that target many of the different types of CFTR mutations. (length 2:18)
