Yes, CFFC Education Night. This year, we are going with a shorter format on a weekday evening. Here’s the program for the evening:
6:00 – 7:00: Reception – Check in; enjoy appetizers and beverages; connect with your friends and new acquaintances; visit with our sponsors.
7:00 – 7:30: Update – News of what’s happening at our clinics and hospitals.
7:45 – 8:30: Discussion – Participate in one of three discussion groups.
8:30 – 8:45: Wrap up
Based on the responses to our survey, the discussion topics will be:
Coping with grief, stress and depression
Adapting to life with CF: the first 5 years (understanding CF and CF care, the new “normal,” how to get help, etc.)
Caring for all of you (life style, nutrition, exercise, mental health, etc.)
Please take the time to register for this event at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MLKZJLR
Just answer five easy questions so we can plan for food and discussion space. If more than one member of your family will attend this event, please complete a separate registration for each person.
As always, we are concerned about the well being of our guests. We will follow CFFC’s infection prevention protocols. Attendees who have CF will be asked to wear purple ribbons so that individuals can make informed decisions about contact with other attendees. Volunteers serving the appetizers will be instructed on infection prevention standards. We will be providing face masks and hand sanitizer. Weather permitting, outdoor space will be available for conversations.
May is CF Awareness Month. Please join us on May 23rd to enhance our awareness of various aspects of life with CF as we gather with others facing the same challenges.
