CFF is asking the CF community to submit comments to their federal legislators in support of the Improving Access to Clinical Trials Act. The text of their call to action is presented below. The announcement includes a link to an automated message page on the CFF site.

We need your help. Unless we act now, the Improving Access to Clinical Trials Act (IACT) will expire in just 6 months! This important law allows those with rare diseases, like cystic fibrosis, to participate in clinical trials without fear of losing vital health benefits.

Members of the House and Senate have introduced the Ensuring Access to Clinical Trials Act of 2015, which would remove the expiration date from IACT anad allow it to become a permanent law.

Send a message to your senators and representatives and ask them to pass this important legislation.

Now more than ever, it is critical that all people with CF and other rare diseases have the ability to participate in clinical trials without fear of losing their benefits.

Thank you for all you do! Together, we will keep adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.

Sincerely,

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
