Multicenter Validation of Predictive Sputum (Mucus) Biomarkers in CF
This multi-center trial will seek to discover or confirm biomarkers in CF sputum (mucus) that may measure disease activity and predict future disease progression. A biomarker is a biological molecule found in blood, mucus, other body fluids, or tissues that is a sign of a normal or abnormal process, or of a condition or disease. This trial is for people with CF age 12 years and older. This trial will require sputum samples and other assessments.
