Mark your calendar on April 5, 2016 for the 36th Annual Kit Taylor Memorial Lecture. The speaker will be Dr. Patrick Sosnay. Dr. Sonsay is a member of the adult CF center and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Department at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Patrick Sosnay joined the Johns Hopkins adult CF team as a faculty member in 2008 after completing his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Medicine. He was a fellow in CF clinic the preceding two years. Dr. Sosnay did his undergraduate and medical school at the University of Wisconsin, then moved to Johns Hopkins for residency. Dr. Sosnay was attracted to CF as a specialty because of the exemplary care he saw the CF team delivering. His research interests include:
- Rare CFTR mutations and atypical cases of cystic fibrosis
- CF genetics
- Pathophysiology of CF lung disease
